The past few days, I’ve been singing an old song in my mind that as a kid we sang in church and it went something like this “Count your blessings, name them one by one, count your blessings, see what God has done, count your blessings name them one by one, count your many blessings and see what God has done”.  The song was simple and repetitive, but now as an adult and my experiences of life highs and lows that simple phrase has had impact on me was overwhelmed me with tears of joy.  You see, when I started counting my blessings, they were so many that I couldn’t phantom the number and I just stopped and started praising God and thanking him for what he has done and continues to do for me.
