For those of you who are new to our Church, the "Sunshine Disciples" are a group of women who want to socialize and do something good.  So, we meet once a week on Tuesday, (10AM- 1:30PM) for fun, fellowship, and lunch!

   We participate in fundraising ideas together, and work on projects either individually, or as a group.  Other times, we plan for future crafts.  Several times a year, we visit nursing homes and people that are confined to their homes (shut-ins).

   We have visited Shands Children's Ward as a group providing music, songs, and hand-made crafts to patients.  On occasion, we are invited to a member's home for lunch, relaxation, and perhaps a movie.  And, we help is such tasks as filling bags with manure to sell at our annual yard sale!

   In November, we have a bazaar and "Cookie Walk" at the Church and sell our famous homemade cookies, as well as various crafts.

   The money we make from fundraising is given to different charities in the community.  Our vision is, "Do All We Can, Whenever, Wherever, and for Whomever We Can."

    Every lady is welcome to join us - whether you become a member or not.  There are no dues, no forms to fill out - just show up on Tuesdays.  You don't even have to cook!  Don't feel crafty?... just sit and visit with your Christian Sisters.  Those staying for lunch bring a covered dish to share.
